BENSON – Police in Addison and Rutland counties responded to four daytime, forced entry burglaries in the towns of Benson, West Haven, and Shoreham on Monday.
Police in Rutland county responded to burglaries at two residences on Lake Road in the town of Benson and a residence on Main Road in West Haven while police in Addison County responded to a burglary at a residence on North Orwell Road in the town of Shoreham.
Police say all the homes were entered forcefully with family jewelry, wedding bands, watches, cutlery, coins, and laptops being some of the items stolen.
According to the report, all four burglaries were reported to have occurred during daytime hours and were unattended at the time they were entered.
